Background
Integrity Marketing Solutions is the leading provider of newsletters and
practice development products and services for the estate planning
attorney. We pioneered affordable, "turn-key" newsletter
solutions for the estate planning law firm, and have been leading the way
since 1995. Newsletters are one of the most efficient ways to communicate
with clients, prospects, and referral sources ... providing the effective
communication that is critical to building successful relationships.
Integrating New
Technology
We have long seen the promise of the internet un-fulfilled. Websites
that languished, or attracted undesirable (and unprofitable)
"tire-kickers," and pricing models that were far beyond the
reach of the solo practitioner or small firm. We recognized the
potential, but lamented the waste.
Then we decided to
change all that.
We developed a
truly revolutionary, integrated e-newsletter service that builds on and
supports traditional marketing efforts; that provides a consistent,
professional image; complies with the complex ethics requirements
of law firms; provides an integrated, automatic method of tracking
results; and is a realistically affordable solution for solo
practitioners and small
firms.
The
competition
We critically reviewed on-line newsletter options, from custom solutions
to syndicated providers, to do-it-yourself application service
providers. On average, we found the per-issue cost for a
professional-quality newsletter was more than $3,000. If you were
willing to invest a lot of time and effort to learn to program, write
content, purchase software, and rent space on a server, you could get
your per-issue cost closer to $1,000 -- but purchasing, installing,
configuring, and maintaining the software alone could run as much
$10,000 in up-front fees.
Our Solution
What we developed was an integrated solution that includes an e-mailed
version of a "highlights" newsletter and a "landing"
website. The "highlight" e-mail version is formatted to be
visually appealing (or it can be sent in plain-text for those on AOL),
and quick-to-read. Even if the recipient does not
"click-through" to view the full-version online, your
e-newsletter makes a professional impression, without being overly
intrusive. The "landing" website allows us to go into more
detail and provide a truly interactive experience, while also capturing
vital data about the effectiveness of your program. We also were able to
implement an on-line archive of past issues.
