We understand the importance of Word headers and footers and have had numerous requests to add special language to the headers and footers of the WTP Will and Trust documents, including: document title, signer initials, witness initials, filename, time/date stamp and firm name. Every firm has their own preferences. Some want them centered, others left or right, and some even want to change the font size.

In response, we are developing a new Word Preferences dialog that will let you "Have it your way!". You will be able to choose what items you want to include in your document footers—and even headers. For each item you will be able to choose a location: left, center or right. You can even choose the font size for each element, with fonts ranging from tiny (6pt) up to standard (12pt). On certain elements you can even choose the format such as the number style or the date and time stamp. These will be set in the Firm Preferences, and then can be changed on a document-by-document basis in the Matter Preferences. These options are available for Microsoft Word users only.
